A half hour documentary of my work, filmed by Kirsty MacDonald, will be screened on Maori Television on 23 February 2010 at 9.30pm as part of Kete Aronui, an arts documentary series.
The documentary features my solo performance Taualuga: the Last Dance staged at the launch of Paul Baragwanath and Art consultancy in Auckland to my solo exhibition entitled Shigeyuki Kihara: Living Photographs held at the Metropolitan Museum New York City in 2008-09.
Maori Television is an indigenous-run and owned television station based in Auckland, New Zealand which focuses on issues concerning Maori and indigenous communities around the world.
