Voices of Art: an evening of art for animals will be an elegant soirée fusing the contemporary art world and the animal protection movement.
The evening will commence with a draw from a series of prize pools. Expertly assisted by long-time Voiceless supporter and animal lover Clover Moore MP, Lord Mayor of Sydney, each of the 50 entry ticket holders will be given the opportunity to enter a number of draws to win:
* One of 20 works of art by nationally and internationally recognised artists Shaun Gladwell; Tim Storrier; Ai Weiwei; Imants Tillers; Peter Atkins; Monika Behrens; Dadang Christanto; Cherry Hood; Jonathan Jones; Janey Laurence; Dani Marti; Charwei Tsai; Guan Wei; John Young; Michael Zavros; The Kingpins and Shigeyuki Kihara.
* One of 30 ‘experience and indulgence’ prizes
Following these draws, Roger McIlroy of Nevill Keating McIlroy and former Deputy Chairman of Christie’s Asia, will auction two extremely valuable works of art which have been generously donated by renowned artists Tim Storrier and Ai Weiwei.
Drinks and canapés will be served throughout the evening in the magical surrounds of the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation.
Event details: Tickets are $2,000 each. Only 50 tickets are being offered. One ticket provides entry to 2 people (but only one opportunity to win in the raffle draws).
Where: Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation, 16–20 Goodhope Street, Paddington NSW.
When: Thursday 29th April 2010 @ 6.00pm for 6.30pm.
