One Response to “Taualuga: The Last Dance”

  1. I am a new student of Whitireia, and as such, I went along to the free viewing of the Taualuga performance on Thursday 24 February…

I went into it having NO idea just who Shigeyuki Kihara was (Let alone how to spell or pronounce her name)…

I left with something in my soul stirred & churned & scrapped at the surface… I felt like crying through out the whole show, at the injustice of it all, yet having no idea exactly & specifically what injustice had been caused. *eh*.

Thank you Yuki. I am intrigued & also abit afraid of you and your work. I want to know more, and yet I am also scared to. I guess this is what happens when a truth is spoken.

    Inspiring, thought-provoking, spine tingling performance… And I have a feeling, I ain’t seen NOTHING yet…
