Thanks to all who attended the amazing and successful Talanoa performance between the Dambai Dancing Group of Sudan and Te Roro n Rikirake Kiribati Youth Group at todayโs Emerge Festival!!
On Tuesday 22 June we had the Talanoa Forum โ a discussion and reflection on the Talanoa: Walk the Talk VII project with community leaders including Dambai Dancing Group of Sudan; Te Roro n Rikirake Kiribati Youth Group; Abraham Mamer; Dr Katerina Teiawa and Shigeyuki Kihara. This event was equally successful and thanks to all those who attended both the performance and the forum.
Talanoa: Walk the Talk VII and the Talanoa Forum are major events held as part of my Artist in Residence programme hosted and commissioned by Multicultural Arts Victoria, Melbourne, Australia.
